welcome to the Batabook project homepage. This is a temporarely webspace presenting to you a book project initiated by Bata Brands. There have been many publications featuring the company‘s history. Some were initiated by ourselves – some by others. One might say the Bata story has been told enough times.
The Batabook is not about history but about what makes Bata unique; milestones, product innovations, style in advertising and architecture, and on top of them all, pioneers and associates, people who make, sell and buy shoes. A kaleidoscope of images, quotes and stories where past and present are intertwined to inspire Bata‘s brand equity for the future.
